Joan Hunter: Healing Your Finances

We are excited to share another powerful episode of Rise Up with Jenny and Katie with the world. Our heart is to reach people globally with the truth about Jesus. Recently, we met with Joan Hunter, a compassionate minister, anointed healing evangelist, and accomplished author. She has devoted her life to delivering messages of hope and healing to the nations.

In this interview with Joan, she shares with viewers her powerful testimony of being healed of Breast Cancer back in 2000. “No matter where you are right now,” Joan states, “you do not have to stay there.” This is a powerful wake-up call to so many people! We have the ability to choose where and how we spend our money, time, and energy. Joan reminds us all to be careful what we are giving, because what we give out it what we will receive back. As people and societies built on money, we can all fall into the trap of placing our jobs in the seat of being our provider, instead of God. We must never forget that God is the One who is our Provider, not our jobs.

In Joan’s book, Supernatural Provision, she discusses three main areas where repentance and finances are linked together.

  1. Repent for foolish spending (i.e., impulse buying)

  2. Repent for the time you haven’t tithed (i.e., time not spent doing what we should be)

  3. Repent for times God called us to give and we disobeyed

Rise Up with Jenny and Katie has broadcasted to the 10/40 Window bi-weekly since March of 2020. The “10/40 Window” is the rectangular area of North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia that is home to two thirds of the world’s population, an estimated 5.11 billion people. This region typically has less access to the gospel, with as many as three out of five people having zero access to the gospel message. The Rise Up Show receives hundreds of thousands of calls each week, and since airing for the first time last year, has grown to nearly 1.5 million viewers per episode.

The viewers of Rise Up With Jenny and Katie are diverse, with people of Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, and Christian faith. Many in this region show legal, economic, and social preferences to their religion and suppress most who claim to follow Jesus. The poorest of the poor predominantly live in the 10/40 Window. Spiritual strongholds maintain poverty, disease, and oppression, with billions being held captive and kept from the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus.

“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Luke 4:18-19

Jesus makes it clear in this passage that one of His missions, and also ours, is to bring the Gospel message to those who are oppressed and being held captive. We are to proclaim the good news and bring light and life to all we can.

In an effort to spread the gospel, Pastor John and Rachel Javed founded the King Television Network in January 2020. Jenny Lucky was first asked to create a show for this powerful, international network following her first miracle crusade in Pakistan. She partnered with Katie Walker, despite COVID-19 rapidly spreading around the world, to create what is known today as Rise Up With Jenny and Katie.

Together, Jenny and Katie committed themselves to always sharing the salvation message and love of Jesus to the world. Each episode features incredible stories, testimonies, and interviews to empower and uplift viewers from every walk of life.

Jenny is the founder and director of International Awakening Ministries and Bride to Be Ministries. She is a prophetic evangelist moving in healing, miracles, signs, and wonders. Jenny travels to many countries, leads prayer rooms, and takes teams to the nations for crusades.

Katie is a passionate revivalist. She walks boldly in her calling to share the love of the Father to the nations. Katie loves the prayer room and burns for the presence of Jesus. She is the co-author of the Woman of Influence 30-day Devotional and is the supporting actress in the feature film 8 Days. This busy mother of four produces films, co-hosts Rise Up With Jenny and Katie, speaks across the USA, and teaches with the online study for The Passion Translation.
