Dr. Brian Adams: The Truth About Healing
We are thrilled to share another powerful new episode of Rise Up with Jenny and Katie with the world. Our heart is to reach people all over the world with the truth about Jesus. This past month, we met with Dr. Brian Adams, a minister with a heart to see people delivered and set free. His unique story started with a history of drug dealing and substance abuse. Brian went on to become an undercover narcotics cop, using his knowledge of the industry to convict criminals. As he walked yet one more handcuffed person into the police barracks back in 1995, he heard the voice of God say, “Brian, I haven’t called you to imprison people, but to set the captives free.” That day, he turned in his badge and began his journey as a minister of the truth.
In this interview with Brian on “The Truth About Healing,” he shares with viewers how there are not any scriptures where Jesus says, “Father I ask you to heal.” All of His prayers were declarative and informative. He states that we must understand dominion and authority. In Luke 10:19, Jesus said, “Behold, I give unto you power and authority to tread over all serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy and by no means shall any of this hurt you.” Dr. Brian states that this is why when he’s doing any type of deliverance ministry, he doesn’t worry about getting hurt because he understands that he has authority over that situation.
Dr. Brian describes the heart of a vision he had about Jesus on a whipping post. He said he heard God say that His Son’s back became a portal and the atmosphere of Heaven was released on Earth through this. Because of this, we don’t have to ask God to heal someone, since that’s a prayer of doubt. Instead, we must believe that it’s already been done. From this moment on, Dr. Brian chose to stop asking the Father to heal, and to take was has already been released and apply it.
When asked how to receive healing, Dr. Brian shares that if you are born again, you are the temple of the Holy Ghost. If you are the temple of the Holy Ghost, you are like the landlord of the temple, meaning you have eviction power. You have the ability to tell your pain to leave in the Name of Jesus. Miracles are not just for the days of old. The dead are still raised. The blind still receive sight.

The Rise Up Show has broadcasted to the 10/40 Window bi-weekly since March of 2020. Many in this region show legal, economic, and social preferences to their religion and suppress most who claim to follow Jesus. The poorest of the poor predominantly live in the 10/40 Window. Spiritual strongholds maintain poverty, disease, and oppression, with billions being held captive and kept from the transforming power of the Gospel of Jesus.
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Luke 4:18-19
Jesus makes it clear in this passage that one of His missions, and also ours, is to bring the Gospel message to those who are oppressed and being held captive. We are to proclaim the good news and bring light and life to all we can.
